wisdom-ark is seeking a Research Analyst Intern to support strategy and policy research by analyzing economic trends, proprietary data, and industry developments. This 8-week internship program offers hands-on experience in data-driven research, market analysis, and policy evaluation to support business decision-making. The intern will contribute to high-quality research reports, strategic insights, and analytical recommendations that influence both internal strategy and external publications. 

• Conduct economic and policy research using public and proprietary data sources to identify trends and insights.
• Assist in analyzing macroeconomic conditions, market risks, and regulatory changes impacting industries and financial markets.
• Support the development of research reports, policy briefs, and strategy documents that inform decision-making.
• Collect, organize, and interpret large datasets to generate meaningful business and policy insights.
• Create visual reports, charts, and presentations to communicate findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Monitor global financial and policy news to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
• Assist in case studies and benchmarking research related to industry trends and strategic initiatives.
• Work closely with partners, affiliated NPO events and provide insightful data analysis.

• How to analyze economic data and proprietary datasets for policy and business strategy insights.
• How to structure data-driven research reports and strategic recommendations.
• Best practices for policy analysis, regulatory impact assessment, and market intelligence.
• Exposure to financial risk assessment, economic modeling, and forecasting techniques.
• How to use Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present data-driven findings.
• Communication skills to translate complex research into actionable insights for executives and stakeholders.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Finance, International Relations, Political Economy, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for research and reporting.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to turn data into actionable insights.
